Hey there, I’m Wendy, the maker of Roaming Studios 
and your host for Hoi An, 2027.
... and who am I? 
Great question!

I hold a Bachelor of Media Arts from the University of Sydney, with a double major in Photography and Film. I then took off to photograph and became a passionate culture lover and solo traveller.

I’ve photographed and written for Sri Serendipity publishing house for their guide books; mapping cultural and historical tours throughout Sri Lanka, for the Cinnamon Grand hotel group, and written for the Sunday Times SL.

I’ve run photography workshops in both Australia and Sri Lanka and exhibited my photography in Sydney. I then completed my Masters in Social Change and Development.

Like so many of us, a creative life - gets sidetracked, we pay bills and care for people and need to turn-down our playful sides.

A trip to Hoi An reignited this energy in me and collated all the great things that travel has provided for me over the years, and I wanted to recreate this for others.

A rest, a space to breathe, play and create things with a complete lack of rigidity. A place to be both humbled by such depth of history and to loosely grasp at the now of a culture. To feel safe to explore, and renewed to return home.
